IHR Winter Conference 2018: Home: New Histories of Living

This conference will host pathbreaking research exploring the ways the home has been thought about, utilized and lived within throughout history. These perspectives open the shutters on domesticity, by showing how patterns of homemaking can reshape our conceptions of kinship, consumption and the everyday.

Past and Future – Autumn/Winter 2017

The IHR’s ‘London women historians: a celebration and a conversation’ is the subject of our feature story and cover image for the latest issue of Past and Future.

Also featured are details of the IHR Winter conference on ‘Home: New Histories of Living’, profiles of our new Junior Research Fellows, and much more.
