Otto von Bismarck: A Bicentennial exhibition and lecture

On April 1st the bicentenary of Bismarck’s birth will be celebrated by the German President Joachim Gauck in Berlin. To share this event the Bismarck Foundation is organizing an exhibition at the IHR, which will be opened on the 6th May by the IHR Director, Professor Lawrence Goldman. Professor Jonathan Steinberg will then lecture on ‘the Iron Chancellor’.

Today at the Institute

The IHR will be closed from Thursday 2nd April to Tuesday 7th April inclusive (except for Tuesday evening seminars), and will re-open at 9.00am on Wednesday 8th April.
