London and the First World War

Registration is now open for this major conference, organised by IWM (Imperial War Museums) in partnership with the Centre for Metropolitan History, exploring the ways in which London and its inhabitants were affected by, and involved with the 1914-18 conflict.

Cakes, tea and coffee will all be available from 1pm-3pm in the IHR Common Room.

All proceeds will be going to Shelter & Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital

IHR Christmas closure, Wednesday 24 December 2014 to Sunday 4 January 2015 inclusive

The IHR will close at 5.30pm on Tuesday 23 December 2014.
Please note there will be no café service in the IHR Common Room on 23rd and 24th December.
