This free workshop will take place on 27 October in Leeds.

Sponsored by the IHR, it will focus on the editorial process and peer review, journal articles, monographs, and Open Access.

History Day 2016

A unique one-day programme vital for postgraduate students, early career researchers and anyone interested in history. The day includes a history fair showcasing libraries, archives and other historical organisations, and offering one-on-one advice on your research.

Booking open! Cities and Disasters: urban adaptability and resilience in history, 3-4 November 2016

Organised by CMH/NIHU, this conference features 25 papers across 2 days which will explore the ways in which cities across time and geographical regions have experienced, and been shaped by, natural disasters and other ‘shocks’.

‘Little America’: history and architecture of the US Embassy at Grosvenor Square

Join us on the 28 October for a screening of the  documentary, ‘Little America’ (2016), exploring the history of the US Embassy at Grosvenor Square- which was commissioned to mark the Embassy’s departure from the Square as it moves to Nine Elms.
