Common room

The Institute Common room is a relaxing place to meet before seminars or to take a break from work in the library.

The Common Room is normally open throughout IHR opening hours, and is available to all users of the Institute. The Common Room is also available for hire at some times, and occasional closures are shown in the IHR Diary.

Hot and cold drinks and snacks are served from 9.00 am until 6.00 pm, and a hot lunch is available from 12.00 noon until 2.00 pm, on weekdays. On Saturdays and in the evenings, self-service hot drinks are available until 45 minutes before closing time.
