Sean has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater where he studied History and Literature and played football for legendary coach Bob Brezowitz. He came to London in 2006 where he completed his Master of Arts at the University of Westminster in Literature, writing his dissertation on Mass-Observation and the Blitz. His doctoral thesis ‘America and the Blitz’ focuses on the impact the Blitz had on American public opinion and how it helped move the sentiment from isolationism towards intervention.

Sean has been awarded the Marshall/Baruch Fellowship at the George C. Marshall Foundation in Lexington, Virginia.
