Economic and Business Historical Society - 35th annual conference
The Economic and Business Historical Society will hold its 35th annual international conference bringing together economic and business historians. Proposals and panels on any period, geographic, or topical focus are welcome, as long as the topic fits the general rubric of “economic or business history.” Papers presented at the conference will be eligible for consideration by the Society's peer-reviewed journal, Essays in Economic and Business History.
The conference offers scholars an opportunity for sustained interdisciplinary conversation about their work, and combines intellectual rigor with small-conference collegiality. Attending business historians grapple with their economic colleagues’ quantitative evidence, and attending economic historians deeply engage details of company narrative. Applications from graduate students are welcomed and encouraged.
