The Department of Classics, University of Reading is delighted to repeat its successful Postgraduate Latin Summer School 9 July - 10 August 2012.

This Summer School is open to students who have graduated or are in their final year of a BA. This is an ideal course for those planning to do postgraduate work in a range of disciplines, or to pursue a career in Classics teaching. Classes will be offered at Beginners and Intermediate levels.

Summer school - 'Roma in Festa. Staging and Experiencing Festival Culture in Early Modern Rome'

This July, an interdisciplinary summer school on the festival culture of early modern Rome will be held at at the Academia Belgica in Rome. The summer school is integral part of the three–year federal research project ‘Baroque Festival Cultures Between Italy and the Southern Netherlands.’
