Covering dates only are given for each of the divisions listed above. Where gaps exist in series, these are not noted. Rate assessments in particular rarely consist of an unbroken and homogeneous series. However, unless otherwise specified, the archives of each parish, church or chapel are fully listed at L92 in the London subject catalogue, and the following handlists, which give more detailed breakdowns of dates, transcripts and indexes available, etc., are also available at the Section's enquiry desk:
