US$50,000-US$100,000 per year for 1 to 3 years to support the preparation for publication of pre-existing texts and documents that are currently inaccessible or available in inadequate editions, the funding may consist of outright funds, federal matching funds, or a combination of the two, applicants must be US citizens or US residents, or applying through a US-based institution, closing date 5 Dec

Objective: 

To support a team of at least one editor and one other staff member preparing existing texts for publication so that scholars, educators, students and the public have ready and easy access to these materials

Subject: 

Humanities projects involving significant literary, philosophical and historical materials are typical in this grant programme, but other types of work, such as musical notation, are also eligible
