The Catholic Record Society is delighted to announce a call for papers for the 57th Annual Conference, to be held at Downing College, Cambridge, 28-30 July 2014. 

Abstracts of no more than 300 words are invited, on the theme of Reformation and post-Reformation  Catholic History in the British Isles, to be submitted to catholicrecordsociety@gmail.com no later than Friday 11 April 2014. Each successful paper is expected to last approximately one hour, and the Society will contribute to speakers costs.

CFP: Tudor and Stuart Ireland Conference

The fourth Tudor and Stuart Ireland Conference will take place in NUI Maynooth on 29 and 30 August 2014. This year’s conference will be organised by a new team – Jeffrey Cox, Jessica Cunningham, Bronagh McShane and Frances Nolan. Proposals for papers and panels on any aspect of society in the Tudor and Stuart eras are now welcome. Postgraduates are particularly encouraged to offer papers. The closing date for proposals is Friday, 11 April 2014.
