Greenwood's Map of London

This web site provides access to a map of London printed in 1827. The map has been scanned and these Images are available from the site. The Greenwood map covers an area of London from Earls Court in the West to the River Lea and Greenwich in the East, and from Highgate in the North to Camberwell in the South. The reproduction of the map is good and has been divided into sections which can be viewed in different sizes. The map is accompanied by a list of place names, canals and future railway termini sites, and stairs and wharves on the Thames, all of which are linked to the relevant section of the map.
