Yorkshire Quaker Heritage Project http://www.hull.ac.uk/lib/archives/quaker/ The Yorkshire Quaker Heritage Projects aims to increase access to and awareness of collections of Quaker material relating to Yorkshire. The project is currently in progress and aims, on completion, to have created an online database which will provide descriptions of Yorkshire Quaker collections and their locations. The projects is also working on the development of a name index database. A research guide is also being developed. The site currently provides a list of Yorkshire Quaker collections and an alphabetical list of links to Quaker collection information held on ARCHON from the Historical Manuscripts Commission. The web site provides some background information on the project and on Quakerism in general. Other features of the site include a news and events section, a list of recently completed research and research in progress relating to Yorkshire Quakerism, and a list of briefly annotated links to other Quaker sites. The site also maintains a list of research on Yorkshire Quakerism that is currently in progress or has been recently completed.
