The Medieval Technology Pages web site was
created by Paul Gans of New York University. The site aims to provide
accurate, referenced information on medieval technological innovation.
The site covers a period from 500 - 1600. The information on the
site can be accessed in different ways. There is a subject index
which lists items alphabetically. The site also presents the information
in the form of a timeline. There is a reference section which takes
the form of an alphabetical list of all the sources used to obtain
the information for the site. Each reference links through to the
relevant information on the site.
