This web site is concerned with black history, genealogy and heritage. It is a community project, which has been set up to try and bridge the generation gap in the black community and to encourage the younger generation to take an interest in their heritage. It offers several useful resources, with articles on different aspects of black history, a gallery of historical images, information about the campaign for blue plaques celebrating influential black figures, and articles about genealogy in the black community, and how to start researching family history. In addition to this there are also profiles of black historians and a calendar with details of black history events.
