British Library of Political and Economic Science : pamphlet collection http://www.lse.ac.uk/library/pamphlets/ This section of the British Library of Political and Economic Science (BLPES) website provides information and access to the full-text of its pamphlet collection. There are over 90,000 pamphlets in the collection, mainly published in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Most of the pamphlets are available as Adobe PDF files; to view them it is necessary to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. The following topics are covered by the collection: British history, politics, economic history, international history, social policy, poor laws and the origins of the welfare state, origins of the National Health Service, housing, labour and trade unions, unemployment and transport.
