Digital editing at the IHR

The IHR is pleased to announce a new project - ReScript - which will scope, build and test an online platform for the editing of historical texts. The prototype will be tested using four different texts, representative of the main approaches to historical editing, in order to ensure that it is sufficiently flexible to cope with the range of editorial activity undertaken by historians: Aubrey’s Brief Lives, Clarendon’s History of the Rebellion, the St. Botolph Aldgate Parish Clerk’s Memorandum Books and Foster’s Alumni Oxonienses.

For more information about the project, see http://www.history.ac.uk/projects/ReScript.

ReScript is a project of IHR Digital, the IHR's new publishing and consultancy arm for digital matters.
