Edexcel has a number of opportunities for teaching professionals to join their assessment team and assist in marking the 2011 GCSE and GCE exams

Being an examiner or a moderator can inspire fresh ideas and new approaches to teaching, and keep you in touch with developments in education. If you are a teacher t will offer you an insight into national standards and help you to better prepare your students for their exams. 

Most of the marking is carried out online, giving our examiners the flexibility of working from home. The marking period is between May and July, and examiners can expect to earn between £600 and £1000 for their work.
