Job Vacancy at the IHR

We are seeking a Web Content Developer to be responsible for the maintenance, software development and content/data management of the History of Parliament website (

You will also be responsible for helping the IHR’s web team with development and support for other projects within IHR Digital (

You will possess wide-ranging knowledge and experience of website design, development and delivery, including demonstrable proficiency in content management and significant experience of Drupal. Experience with Javascript/JQuery or Ajax applications would be an advantage, and ideally you will be from a publications, education, heritage or communications background.

You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with demonstrable organisational skills and the ability to maintain enthusiasm, efficiency and a sense of calm while working to deadlines. You will have the capacity to provide innovative solutions, excellent analytical skills and the ability to adapt to new web technologies.
