RHS Bibliography collaboration with Writings on Irish History On-Line

We are pleased to announce that the Royal Historical Society Bibliography has embarked on an exciting new collaboration with Writings on Irish History On-Line.
Writings on Irish History On-Line is a project funded by the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences, based in the Department of Modern History, NUI Maynooth, under the supervision of Professor Jacqueline Hill.
It will henceforth form the Irish component of the RHS Bibliography of British and Irish History, offering more comprehensive coverage of publications on Irish history. An editor (Dr Anthony McCormack) and a data-inputter (Ms Mary Murray) started work in October 2003, inputting data from past and current Writings on Irish History (published by Irish Historical Studies under the aegis of the Royal Irish Academy’s National Committee for History).
It is expected that the first batch of data, covering publications of 1993-6, will become available on-line by the summer of 2004.
