Digital Product Editor

We now have a new opportunity for an Digital Product Editor to join the Library Reference Publishing team, based in our Andover office.

The purpose of this role is to work closely with LR Publishers on a number of projects, taking responsibility for documenting the validated product’s concept ensuring the requirements are executed in the project.  You will play a key role in the project team supplying knowledge of the product concept, source content, functionality specifications, and user requirements. You will also be responsible for researching future projects, as well as helping to prepare sales and marketing documentation.

To be successful you must be degree educated (or equivalent) with experience of planning, tracking,  scheduling and checking content for online products.  You will need a solid understanding of metadata, asset management, databases and editing complex projects and digital publishing processes.  You will be a strong communicator, who is organised, able to work on your own initiative, with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.    Ideally, you will have experience of research, working in archives, or creation of online resources and a passion for history will also be advantageous.
