PhD Studentships/Bursaries at QUB
In addition to our 'open' AHRC and DEL studentships, Queen's University Belfast is offering:
(1) An AHRC project PhD Studentship on ‘Hit songs and their significance in seventeenth-century England’ to be supervised by Professor Christopher Marsh.
Closing date: Friday 15 February 2013. There is no separate application form; candidates for this studentship should apply for a place on the PhD programme via the University’s online application system and should indicate on the form (in the ‘title’ box or elsewhere) that they wish to be considered for the AHRC ‘Hit Songs’ studentship. (2) Applicants for a PhD project relating to the history of Ireland in the period 1912-23 at QUB are eligible to apply for a Universities Ireland PhD Bursary worth c.£16,000. Applications for these awards must be made directly to Universities Ireland. Candidates must also apply to and be accepted for a PhD place at QUB. Closing date: 4pm on Friday 31 May 2013.
