Heritage Project Manager
Sheila McKechnie was a highly effective activist whose vision was to make people as powerful as the institutions they dealt with. Set-up in her memory in 2005, the Sheila McKechnie Foundation (SMK) is a small charity that empowers people to have a voice, and to be effective in campaigning and influencing.
We have an exciting new 12-15 month opportunity to create and launch an archive about the life and impact of Sheila McKechnie, including developing online resources and educational materials. The post is 2.5 days per week, and we are looking for an experienced project manager, with proven heritage expertise, who has a demonstrable track record in working effectively with people as well as archive material.
If you are interested in applying, please apply by sending your CV and a covering letter (no more than six pages in total for both please) that clearly address the Essential and Desirable headings in the Job Description and Person Specification (which can be found at http://www.smk.org.uk/job-vacancies/ ).
