Applicants should include a full research proposal with their application and proposals should be multi-disciplinary in their approaches. Applications combining the disciplines of Heritage, Museology, Architecture, and/or Urban Studies are encouraged. In addition, proposals are expected to draw on theoretical concepts from Visual Communication, Phenomenology, Material Culture, and Social Studies to enrich the projects.
The proposal would focus on the cultural role of museums and community engagement, adopting the theme: “The relation between local museums’ strategies and the cities’ socio-cultural development plans/visions”
