England's Past for Everyone (EPE)
England's Past For Everyone (EPE) is a five-year Heritage Lottery funded project run by the Victoria County History (VCH).
Volunteers are working alongside authors and researchers in 10 counties to bring local history to life. The research will result in fifteen paperback books, learning and schools resources and our interactive website, ‘Explore’. The Explore site will contain images, audio visual materials and historical documents, which will be searchable by place, time and theme.
Other partners on the project include local authorities, universities, charitable trusts and English Heritage.
