History and Policy
History & Policy connects historians, policymakers and the media. It is
an independent initiative working for better public policy through an
understanding of history. History & Policy was founded by historians in
Cambridge and London and is based in the Centre for Contemporary British
History at the IHR.
The History & Policy papers published on the website are short and accessible contributions to current policy issues, on topics ranging from pensions to public health and ID cards to Iraq. The new History & Policy website allows users to search the papers and includes an expanded range of resources for historians, policymakers and media.
