I would like to thank Maurice Keen for his generous and thorough review of my book Chivalry and Knighthood in Scotland, 1424–1513. As he is one of the most influential scholars in the field of chivalric studies, it is flattering (and encouraging) to read the extent to which he has engaged with my research and key arguments.
