Author's response
First and foremost, I am very delighted and humbled to hear that my book Exporting Japan was reviewed by Reviews in History. With this, I hope many more readers will be interested in reading the book.
I read Dr. Mackintosh's review with great pleasure. His understanding and appreciation of what I was trying to establish in this research project were so to-the-point and enlightening for other readers. I also concur with his critical comments about the limitation of the book. Such limits shall be a starting point for a future research, I am sure.
