IHR seeks Professor in the History of People, Place and Community

The Institute of Historical Research (IHR) is seeking a senior academic leader to become Professor in the History of People, Place and Community and the founding Director of a new research centre, part of a major transformation taking place at the IHR that will culminate in the celebration of the Institute’s centenary in 2021.

The IHR's digital library of key printed primary and secondary sources for the history of Britain and Ireland, British History Online, has just added 10 volumes of Patent Rolls covering the reigns of Henry III and Edward I.
