Arbitration and Credit in the Ecclesiastical Courts of York

Hannah completed her thesis at the University of Manchester in 2018 exploring the sociability if credit in the late fifteenth century ecclesiastical courts of York. Her current research looks at the role of arbitration in the litigation process and the social relations forges between creditors, debtors and arbitrators.
