Development Office Administrator
Mark joined the IHR in 2015 as the Development Office Administrator, responsible for the day-to-day functions of the development office, processing income and expenditure, and contributing in various ways to the fundraising operation. He works closely with the IHR Trust, a charitable entity established to promote and support historical research in order to advance the education of the public in history (Charity Registration no. 1077592). Mark also administers the Institute’s Friends groups.
Mark received a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy from The Ohio State University (2012) and an MSc in International Public Policy from UCL (2014).
He is currently researching the interaction between international higher education and human rights abuses at the state leadership level.
His favourite authors are Joseph Conrad, Christopher Hitchens, Georges Simenon, and C.P. Snow.
