Current closure of the IHR premises

With the exception of the IHR Library, which is now partially open, the Institute building remains closed at this time. The IHR library will open from 11 January for those who need to access the collections. 

We continue to work remotely and endeavour to maintain as many Institute services and resources as possible.

The IHR building is currently closed, with the exception of access to the IHR Library for readers with reservations. 

IHR staff continue to work remotely and to provide as many resources and services as possible online, including events and seminars.

IHR Library

The IHR library will open from 11 January for those who need to access the collections. We encourage you to access services remotely if possible during the lockdown. We are offering a scanning and enquiry service. You will need to book a desk in advance of travelling to the library.
