This seminar will be given over to our annual ‘Lightning Talks’. A number of early-stage PhD students, working on all aspects of British History in the long eighteenth century, will be invited to provide brief presentations on their research projects. The session always proves popular as it provides a valuable insight into the development of the field of eighteenth-century studies. Attendees are invited to offer constructive feedback and to share their own expertise and experience while speakers will have an opportunity to network with their peers.
All welcome. This event is free to attend, but advance registration is required.
This will be a ‘hybrid’ seminar with a limited number of places available in person and a larger number of bookings for online attendance via Zoom. Those attending in person are asked to bring a Wi-Fi enabled laptop, tablet or phone.
The session will start at the slightly later time of 17:30.
