Dr Jackson Armstrong is a historian of Scotland and England, principally of the later middle ages. He is a senior lecturer in the school of Divinity, History and Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen. In this seminar, he will highlight the themes of his new book in an exploration of the lordship, kinship, justice and governance found in the society and culture of England’s northern border counties in the fifteenth century.
