The Aviation and Aerospace Archives Initiative began in late 2018 as a network to bring together those with a responsibility for or interest in historical records broadly relating to Britain’s aviation and aerospace industries and heritage. Its membership now includes representation from archives services, aerospace businesses, and aviation museums and networks. This talk will explore the drivers behind the formation of the AAAI, its achievements to date and how current projects are evolving.
