Elaine Paintin Memorial Fund
The Elaine Paintin Memorial Fund is awarded annually to eligible students of the Institute of Historical Research, on the recommendation of the Friends’ Committee, to support travel and accommodation costs associated with research or conference attendance.
Update for 2020-21: during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown travel for conferences or research is impossible. With the very generous support of the Friends, the Paintin Memorial Fund instead is fulfilling its function by helping to defray the cost of digitisation of primary source materials used by IHR students.
