The IHR@ series
IHR@ are day events jointly organised with history departments across the UK.
Each day offers research training presented by IHR academic staff and historians from the host university.

Introducing IHR@
As the UK's national centre for history, the IHR's remit extends well beyond its physical building in London. We've long pursued this remit via our digital resources and research partnerships, to which we now add our annual IHR@ series.
IHR@ are history training days held at universities across the UK. Institute staff work with historians at the host department to provide research training, networking opportunities, in depth sessions on topics including public history or publishing for historians, and panel debates on pressing questions such as history and fake news.
We began the series in 2019 and last year hosted IHR@Sheffield, in association with their Centre for Contemporary and Modern History, and IHR@Manchester, with historians from the John Rylands Research Institute.
