Localizing the global: New perspectives on Christianity in Britain since 1914
This seminar explores the shifting nature of British Christianity from 1914 up to the present day. It uses a mosaic of local historical studies, picking up evidence of both secularisation and desecularisation. A key focus is the importance of Christians and churches of global majority heritage. They represent, arguably, the most significant shift in British Christianity in the last fifty years.
