Upcoming Young Volunteer Project
‘Back on Track; a Q stock project’ is a digital documentation and oral history project looking at the social history of an important train carriage as part of the celebrations of 150 years of the District Line. I've attached a flyer with more details.
We are looking for applicants aged 18-25 who are interested in social history, oral history, filmmaking and photography, or looking to gain new skills in the museum and heritage sector.
On the project young people will have the opportunity to research, plan and conduct an oral history interview as well as collaborate across the museum’s different teams including curatorial and learning. We can also offer help with CV’s and signpost to future opportunities
Sessions run every Thursday from the 18th January - 1st March: 10am - 5pm
To apply we are inviting applicants to email firstname.lastname@example.org with 4 bullet points explaining why they are interested and a CV if they have one.
