Project Archivist (freelance) - Our History

METRO is looking for a qualified archivist to work on a heritage project about the charity and its work within LGBT communities in Southeast London 1983-2000s: Our History.

Critical for the project is an archivist with a passion for LGBT history who has experience of training people and engaging with volunteers.

Input of up to 20 days will be required on a freelance basis from March 2019 to January 2020. Project work will be at our offices in Woolwich and Vauxhall, and potentially also in central Greenwich.

a) Your experience of working with LGBT-focused historical topics and/or your knowledge of LGBT history

b) Your track record of training individuals/groups and of working successfully with volunteers
