Corner Shop Stories: A National Trust & Layers of London Volunteering Workshop

When? (Thursday 20th February), 14.00-16.00 ; 18.00-20.00

Where? IHR Training Room (N318), Institute of Historical Research, Senate House, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HU

The National Trust is looking for volunteers to gather information and record the history of London’s corner shops.

Volunteers will be tasked with gathering stories, images and anecdotes celebrating the role of corner shops in local community life.

In collaboration with Layers of London, Information and media will be used to create records which will form a new collection on Layers of London.

Workshops are held at the Institute of Historical Research at Senate House in London and take place from 14.00-16.00 & 18.00-20.00
