Alex Kither

Alex Kither is Graduate Library Assistant Trainee, 2020/21

Before arriving at the IHR, Alex completed an MSt in European History at St Anne's College, Oxford and is currently undertaking a part-time MA in Library and Information Science at the University of Sheffield. Alex has previously worked at the Aberdeen City Archives and Taylorian Institution Library, and is a volunteer with the William Morris Internet Archive. His historical interests include the art and culture in 19th Century France, Romanticism and the British Aesthetic Movement.

Institute Roles

Alex is Library Graduate Trainee at the Institute of Historical Research and the Warburg Institute. He is currently studying for an MA in Library and Information Science at the University of Sheffield. Alex assists with the provision of services to library users, membership and scanning administration and promotion of the collections.
