Tim Richardson

Tim Richardson is a Course Tutor for the IHR's MA in Garden and Landscape History

Tim is a historian and journalist, specialising in international garden design and landscape architecture.

Tim's teaching and research

Tim is a critic, historian and journalist, specialising in international garden design and landscape architecture. He is the founder-director of the Chelsea Fringe Festival, an international festival of art and gardening.

He has published widely on garden history. His most recent books include: Cambridge College Gardens (Frances Lincoln, 2018); Landscape and Garden Design Sketchbooks (Thames & Hudson, 2015); Oxford College Gardens (Frances Lincoln, 2015); and The New English Garden (Frances Lincoln, 2013).
