Getting involved in Railway 200

Speakers: Emma Robertson (Railway 200 Programme Manager, Great British Railways Transition Team) & Mike Esbester (University of Portsmouth)

Join us for an introduction to Railway 200, a yearlong partnership campaign in 2025 to mark the 200th anniversary of the modern railway. It will see activities and events across the United Kingdom, looking at the past, present and future of rail.

Emma Robertson, Railway 200 Programme Manager, will introduce Railway 200 and give a flavour of plans, including how people can get involved. Mike Esbester, Railway 200 academic liaison, will think particularly about how academics and those based in higher education can contribute.
