In this podcast activist and author Caroline Criado Perez talks to Professor Jo Fox, Director of the IHR. Caroline discusses her campaign to improve the commemoration of historical women in British society -- including of the suffragist Millicent Fawcett, whose statue was unveiled in Parliament Square, Westminster, in April 2018. Jo spoke to Caroline ahead of 'Women and Public Commemoration' (May 2018), an IHR panel event to mark the unveiling.
Caroline's latest book is Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men, which is available in paperback from March 2020.
