This is the home page for the Victoria County History of Cornwall.
The Victoria County History of Cornwall
Volume I of VCH Cornwall was published in 1906 and was the only completed volume until work restarted in the county in 2002. The revitalised project completed two England's Past for Everyone projects, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and produced two paperback books; Cornwall and the Cross: Christianity 500-1560 and Cornwall and the Coast: Mousehole and Newlyn. Volume II of the Red Book series for the county, Religious History to 1560 by Nicholas Orme, was published in 2010.
The VCH Cornwall project is currently suspended.
