The England's Past for Everyone project produced, as one of its published outputs, a series of 15 paperback books covering a variety of themes and focusing on places and people.
The series was characterised by well-illustrated narratives and text boxes, based on the high standards of documentary research and fieldwork expected from the VCH. The paperbacks were published by Phillimore & Co Ltd (The History Press).
