Legacy Giving
Since our inception, bequests from our friends and benefactors have helped the Institute of Historical Research continue in its role of supporting historians wherever they are to be found.
Remembering the Institute in your will is the most personal of gifts. Once you have remembered those closest to you, there are a number of ways you can support the IHR by including us in your will.

There are benefits to remembering the IHR in your will. If you should leave at least 10% of your estate to a charity, you can reduce the Inheritance Tax rate on the rest of your estate from 40% down to 36%.
